Seminars & Workshops
The University regularly conducts seminars and conferences on relevant technical and current topics. It also has exchange programmes with other institutes. Personality development programmes as well as inter-class seminars on topics relevant to course curriculum are frequently organized. An events calendar of such activities is in place for each semester. The workshops and seminars aim at encouraging healthy competition among students, and their active participation leads to learning through sharing, discussion and presentations. These activities help build self-confidence among students, and they develop power to express themselves freely on any topic as well as in-depth knowledge of various subjects. Government, Industry-University Interface & Foreign Collaboration
The University promotes active collaboration with the Government, trade and industry. Students are required to undertake industry oriented projects of their choice during their internship. This provides them real life exposure & understanding of practical problems in the working environment of companies, besides helping them to stay focused on jobs, which they would like to opt for in the future. Students gain hands-on experience in the application of concept and skills. At the same time this works out to be beneficial to industries in choosing suitable candidates as prospective employees.
